Karthik Jayanthi was raised in the USA, but his heart always beat to the rhythm of Indian cinema. From a young age, while his peers dreamed of professions shaped by the world around them, Karthik carried within him a quiet but unshakable dream — to become an actor. That dream has now blossomed into a full-fledged creative journey spanning acting, music, writing, and direction.

A true multi-hyphenate talent, Karthik is not just a passionate actor but also a trained singer, composer, lyricist, editor, and storyteller. He made waves with his independent music video "Vellipoye Vennela", which he directed, composed, and performed himself. The song was widely appreciated for its freshness, soul, and emotional depth — a reflection of Karthik’s artistic sincerity.

His journey through cinema began with musical videos, short films like "Vinara Sodara", and culminated in his role as lead actor in the web series "Famous Girlfriend", where his performance earned attention for its natural charm and emotional weight. He also lent his writing skills to the award-winning indie film "Maaya", further showcasing his storytelling acumen.

Now, Karthik steps into the big league as the Hero of the Telugu feature film Rayavalasa — a bold and emotionally layered debut shot in the raw landscapes of rural India. In a bold move powered by passion, Karthik took a break from his life in the USA to pursue acting full-time, relocating to India to immerse himself in the craft and culture of Telugu cinema. Karthik is the son of Radhika Jayanthi — Founder & Director of Raysun Productions and the visionary behind Rayavalasa. Their journey is not just professional — it’s deeply personal.
Beyond films, Karthik is also the founder of “Band-Masti”, a musical band that blends youthful energy with emotional storytelling through sound. The band is already gaining momentum with live shows, digital content, and rising fan engagement.
