Radhika Jayanthi is a woman of purpose, passion, and persistence — someone who has never allowed boundaries to define her potential. As the Founder and Director of Raysun Productions, she brings together a rare blend of artistic vision, professional discipline, and deep-rooted values to the world of cinema.

Her journey is not the usual path to film direction.
She is a full-time IT professional, working 9-to-6 in the fast-paced tech world of the USA. She's also a devoted mother, a former anchor and TV personality who once graced screens and stages in the DMV area, and a hands-on leader who helped manage Sri Vivekananda Vidya Niketan, the educational institution founded by her family in India. Each role, each experience, shaped her voice — and that voice now speaks through film.

Radhika began her cinematic journey with short films and musical videos, producing stories that reflected emotion and authenticity. She then directed and produced the independent film MAAYA in the USA — a film that won accolades and attention for its honest storytelling and directorial maturity.

Now, she makes her feature film debut in the Indian film industry with Rayavalasa — a bold Telugu film shot in remote rural India under intense weather, logistical, and environmental challenges. As a first-time feature Director, she led the project with precision, completing it in a single continuous schedule with a debutant team that included her husband as Producer and her son, Karthik, as Hero.
Radhika balances structure with spontaneity, corporate discipline with creative intuition, and personal emotion with professional storytelling. She is a director who plans every detail — from Zoom-based shot divisions and storyboarding to costume design and music coordination across continents. Yet, she also creates space for raw, real emotions that live beyond the script.
